Hello guys, im very sorry correct now because my Ps. pulcher (sling) died simply now when i woke up from sleep. I am fully aware of what i did wrong, which is:-

1) Not enough cantankerous-ventilation
2) Putting the T enclosure beside the window

Although i know stagnant hot air can kill the T, i did it How stupid can i be. The temperature here in Malaysia is becoming very hot during the days lately, sometimes reaching 30-31 caste celcius and it instantly evaporated the whole h2o dish in my T enclosure. It was perfectly fine this forenoon likewise which is why im frustrated. It all happened while i was dozing off. Over again, i am completely aware of my wrongdoings and just wanted to vent out these feelings 🥲 hope wont exercise it again. On the other hand, three of my slings molted which is C. darlingi, P. Met and C.Versicolor. Possibly i more molt from my Brazillian blue Ahh im sorry. Then to all the keepers out there, exist mindful of the ventilation and temperature of your enclosure and dont be similar me who confidently put the enclosure beside the window under the damn hot sunday.

also, if you guys accept any advice for me, doesnt matter if I already know or even ameliorate, something i didnt know, i would appreciate and gladly take note of information technology. Kinda only want to distract myself from these sad feelings 🥲

It'south been known for quite some time to keep Ts away from direct sunlight. Even Browning (1981) was able to save his T. vagans quickly enough from a window with sunlight and removed it once he noticed discomfort in the spider.

Too bad you had to acquire this lesson the hard way. No matter how harmless it way seem, never, e'er go out your T cage near a window where sunlight can strike.

Oh thats actually news to me. I never knew sunlight could affect it and so badly. Cheers for the advice. i'll exist certain to keep that in heed!

It's not sun lite per se, it's the oestrus generated in a minor box by the dominicus!

Thank you for the alert, I am relatively new here, and see this site as a puddle of knowledge on caring for tarantulas. Nosotros all make mistakes and learn from them. I am sorry your tarantula died, people get attached to their pets, despite what kind of pet you accept, congratulations on your other tarantulas molting in your intendance

Sorry for your loss, Im sure with what happened you volition have more feel, If I were you Id go for the second batch, at present that your mistakes ( which everyone makes) have been clarified.

If you always want to know what directly sunlight does to your T over fourth dimension put your basics up on the window sill during the day and let the sunday cook them for a minimum of 1 hour.
